General Information ... Oxford College of English was founded in 1978 and is fully recognised by ABLS, The Association of British Language Schools. The College is represented world-wide by Europro Language Ltd. We offer both young people and adults the opportunity to learn and practise English in Britain. Our language courses take place in Northampton in the centre of England, Torquay on the south-west coast and Edinburgh in Scotland. In addition to this, Europro Language represents two course centres in Malat and San Diego/USA. All of our UK courses are inclusive of accommodation and food and most include an excursion, activity and social programme. Our teachers are highly experienced and employ both traditional and modern methods of teaching. The curriculum is designed to improve the students' knowledge of both written and spoken English. The class groups are small and friendly, enabling teachers to provide plenty of individual attention in a relaxed atmosphere. All students receive a written teacher's report and a certificate upon successful completion of a course. If required, we make all the arrangemets, including transportation to the course centre, from London Heathrow airport, London Victoria coach station and Edinburgh airport. Group Leaders and Welfare Officers We have our own welfare officers and group leaders at each course centre. They provide an ongoing service looking after the needs of the students and helping all age groups when necessary. They also arrange medical assistance if required. Special arrangements are made to provide supervision on excursions, sports and activities for juniors and younger students. Our local organisers and welfare officers ensure that all students are placed in suitable accommodation and are provided with all the information they need to make their stay in Britain both enjoyable and worthwhile. Special attention is given to very young students, and parents are provided with a 24-hour contact telephone number. If you have any questions concerning our courses, please do not hesitate to ask. Whatever it is, just ask. Courses can be booked in writing, by telephone, by fax, or directly on-line. After the reservation we send a reservation acknowledgement, and general travel documents to your home or business address. After the reservation and receipt of the reservation acknowledgement a 25% deposit has to be made. Full payment must be made 8 weeks prior to departure. About two to three weeks before departure you'll receive the remaining travel documents and tickets. We accept students from all over the world.
